Ok Tedi Development Foundation purchases RPS Soap Mini-Factory

The Ok Tedi Development Foundation (OTDF) is the legal entity that manages community development benefits from the Ok Tedi mine operations on behalf of the 110,000 river residents living in 156 villages throughout Western Province of PNG.
OTDF has purchased an RPS Soap Mini-Factory, which will initially produce bars of hand soap from the used / waste cooking oil from the mine mess facilities and other sources. The soap will be distributed as a component of wider health initiatives.
Raw Power Systems installs coconut powered Generator for Secretariat of Pacific Community (SPC)

SPC is an international organisation that works in public health, geoscience, agriculture, forestry, water resources, disaster management, fisheries, education, statistics, transport, energy, human rights, gender, youth and culture to help Pacific Island people achieve sustainable development.
RPS has completed the installation of an RPS enabled generator for an SPC managed project in Timor-Leste. The generator is running on degummed 100% coconut oil and is powering a local enterprise.

Coconuts are in abundance on the Pacific Island nations of Timor-Leste and the Solomon Islands. Raw Power Systems in partnership with Caterpillar EPSA are providing coconut oil fuelled power generation to remote villages that have no access to the utility grid.
Raw Power Systems presents paper at Pacific Power Association Conference

Raw Power Systems (RPS) in conjunction with Energy Power Systems Australia presented a paper entitled “Reliable renewable fuels from plant oils” at the Pacific Power Association Annual Conference in Palau. The conference focused on renewable energy. The paper stimulated considerable interest among the attendees especially as the economic benefits of using locally sourced oils were made clear.
